GENERAL

About Printfluently

Start here if you`re deciding whether the plugin fits your store.

What is Printfluently?

Printfluently is independent WordPress integration software designed to connect FluentCart with print-on-demand fulfillment providers. The first connector is built around FluentCart and Printful

Does Printfluently replace FluentCart?

No. FluentCart remains responsible for storefront, cart, checkout, payments, customers, and the permanent commerce order record.

What does Printfluently actually do?

It bridges the two systems: mapping products, controlling when eligible paid orders are submitted to Printful, maintaining order references, handling fulfillment-related workflow, and bringing shipment/tracking information back.

Is Printfluently affiliated with Printful or FluentCart?

No. Printfluently is independent software. References to Printful, FluentCart, and WPManageNinja are used only to describe compatibility and integration.

Does Printfluently replace Printful?

No. Printful remains the fulfillment provided responsible for production, fulfillment, shipping, and shipment tracking.

Do I need my own Printful account?

Yes. The merchant connects their own Printful account to the licensed WordPress site.

COMPATIBILITY

WordPress, page builders, and other plugins

Printfluently is designed to add fulfillment functionality without taking over the rest of your WordPress stack.

Will it work with Elementor?

Yes. Elementor can handle this page design while FluentCart continues handling the storefront, checkout, customers, and others, and Printfluently handles the Printful connection.

Does it work with Gutenberg?

Yes, where normal WordPress shortcodes and FluentCart content can be used inside the page.

Do I need FluentSMTP?

No. FluentSMTP is not required for the core connector. A reliable SMTP setup is recommended if your site sends transactional or operational emails.

Will it work with OptimizePress?

Yes. The plugin is not designed around one specific page builder. OptimizePress can be used for your page layouts while FluentCart and Printfluently continue handling their own functions.

Will CRM or email plugins still work?

Yes. FluentCart remains the commerce layer, so compatible CRM, email, analytics,SMTP, and automation plugins can continue using normal FluentCart and WordPress workflows.

Do I need FluentCRM?

No. FluentCRM is not required for the core Printful connector.

SHORTCODES

What are shortcodes and why would I use them?

Shortcodes are small WordPress tags that let you place selected Printfluently features inside pages you design yourself.

Example: Instead of forcing you to use one fixed plugin page design, a shortcode can let you place tracking or the fulfillment manager inside a page built with Elementor, OptimizePress, Gutenberg, or another shortcode friendly builder.

FULFILLMENT

Orders, submission, and failures

What happens after a customer pays.

When does an order get sent to Printful?

That depends on your selected fulfillment mode. Immediate can submit an eligible paid order without an intentional delay. Timed Hold waits for the selected delay, and Manual Hold waits for an authorized user to release it.

What happens if Printful submission fails?

The connector is designed to keep unresolved fulfillment visible for merchant action instead of silently treating it as complete.

Can the same order accidentally be submitted twice?

The plugin includes duplicate protection measures such as per-order processing locks and remote order checks to reduce the risk of duplicate Printful submissions.

What is Release Now?

Release Now ends the remaining hold and attempts to submit the fulfillment order through the normal connector workflow.

What is Retry Submission?

After the underlying issue has been corrected, eligible failed manual submissions can be attempted again through the connector.

Can I cancel an order from Printfluently?

Printfluently`s Cancel action is intended only for orders that have not yet been submitted to Printful. It does not refund the FluentCart order and is not intended to cancel an order that Printful has already received.

HOLD / DELAY

Cash-flow timing questions

How the startup-friendly fulfillment controls are intended to work.

Why would I use Hold / Delay?

it is primarily as cash-flow timing tool. It can provide a short window between receiving a paid FluentCart order and allowing Printful to attempt the fulfillment charge.

Does a 72 hour delay guarantee my customer funds will be available?

No. Payment availability depends on your payment processor, bank account, payment method, weekends, holidays, and other factors.

Does Hold / Delay provide financing?

No. It is only an order-timing tool. The merchant remains responsible for maintaining sufficient funds for fulfillment.

What is the maximum timed delay?

The timed Hold / Delay workflow is designed for up to 72 hours.

What if I need longer than 72 hours?

Use Manual Hold. It has no automatic release, so the merchant remains responsible for monitoring and releasing the order.

Does holding an order delay Printful production?

Yes. Printful cannot begin fulfillment until the order has actually been submitted to and accepted by Printful.

SHIPPING & TRACKING

What customers see after checkout

What shipping options does Printfluently support?

The current shipping design includes Printful Live Rates, Printful Standard Dynamic, Printful Flat Rates, Free shipping, Free Above Amount, Free by Quantity, Merchant Customer Rates, and Shipping Disabled.

Can Customers see tracking?

Yes. When Printful provides shipment details, tracking information can be linked back to the originating FluentCart order and show to the customer.

Will customers see internal Printful or Fulfillment IDs?

No. Internal merchant references are intended for operational use, while the customer view remains simplified.

Does Printfluently replace FluentCart checkout shipping?

No. The connector works with FluentCart`s checkout flow rather than replacing the checkout with a separate system.

What tracking information can be shown?

Depending on what Printful provides, the customer can see status, carrier, tracking number, and a Track Package link.

Where can tracking appear?

Tracking can be shown through the FluentCart customer experience and through the customer safe Printfluently tracking shortcode.

STAFF & SECURITY

Processing orders without full admin access

What is the Processor role?

Processor is a limited WordPress role intended for staff who need access to Printfluently fulfillment actions without receiving broad WordPress or FluentCart administration permissions.

Can I see who released or cancelled an order?

Yes. Manual fulfillment actions can be recorded with the responsible user`s identity and timestamp for merchant accountability.

What can a Processor do?

Authorized Processors can use the frontend Order Manager for permitted actions such as Release Now, pre-Printful Cancel, Retry Submission, search, and filtering.

Do Processors need access to WordPress plugins or payment settings?

No. The Processor workflow is specifically intended to avoid giving fulfillment staff broad administrative access.

LOGS & SUPPORT

Finding problems when something goes wrong

What is a Fulfillment ID?

It is an internal Printfluently operational reference, such as FCPF-1047, used to trace a connector fulfillment separately from the FluentCart invoice or Printful Order ID.

Does log cleanup delete my FluentCart orders?

No. Connector log/history retention is separate from the permanent FluentCart commerce order record.

What can I search in the logs?

The logging designed supports references such as Fulfillment ID, FluentCart order ID, invoice, external Printful reference. Printful Order ID, and message content.

How long can logs be retained?

The current retention choices are 7, 14, 21, or 28 days.

LICENSING & FUTURE DIRECTION

What customers see after checkout

Is the license intended for one website?

The planned commercial model is a one-site-per-purchase annual license.

Why is the brand called Printfluently?

The broader idea is to help merchants print fluently through FluentCart with supported print-on-demand providers, rather than tying the brand permanently to one fulfillment company

Will Printfluently support Printify, Gelato, Tapstitch, or other print-on-demand providers?

Yes. Our first print-on-demand connection is Printful, which then we will be move on to designing connections to the others.

Will future provider integrations use the same site design?

The goal is a consistent Printfluently experience, but each provider integration will need to be engineered and tested around that provider`s own API and fulfillment capabilities.
